Shoreland Restoration Community Build on Lower Hay Lake

On Monday, July 7th, at 9am we’ll be installing Willow Wattle and planting native plugs. If you want to come and find out how to build Willow Wattle and which native plants help stop erosion then this is the project for you! We’ll be planting around 2,000 native plugs, and we’ll also be planting live willow stakes.

This is a great opportunity to get some experience on how to help restore your shoreline. If you’d like to get involved, please contact Kristie Roedl at kristieplummerroedl@gmail.com.
