We’re continuing our effort to raise funds for a remotely operated underwater vehicle (ROV) with a special community event.
Wednesday, August 20 | 5–7 PM | UpNorth Social (35494 County Road 3, Crosslake, MN)
This event is an opportunity to come together, learn more about the threat of Starry Stonewort, and support the next critical step in WAPOA’s response: the purchase of the ROV that will transform how we detect and manage this invasive species on the Whitefish Chain.
Enjoy a relaxed evening with neighbors and fellow lake advocates — all while supporting a great cause:

A small demonstration of the ROV and its capabilities
A Q&A with those leading the Starry Stonewort monitoring efforts
All proceeds go toward the purchase of the ROV and WAPOA’s broader work to combat aquatic invasive species. This event is free to attend and RSVP is not required!
